A great man once said, "You don't make a photograph with just a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you've seen, the books you've read, the music you have heard, and the people you have loved."

My photography embodies this statement with the kind of natural provenance that many artists and professionals work their whole lives to create.  My roots, cultivated in the farmlands in the heart of Montana, speak of a diverse upbringing made rich with experiences with which we can all relate; those of joy and sorrow, love and loss.  All of which translates directly to my film.

My passion for photography, like that of many, started simply as a hobby; but "hobby" is where the similarities end.  Upon graduating from Montana State University, in Bozeman, Montana, I paid tribute to my ancestral fourth generation Montanan pioneer roots and struck out to conquer my own frontier. I enrolled in the Rocky Mountain School of Photography, in Missoula, Montana.  This is where I was exposed to creative minds, inspired by world class instructors, pushed to foster my passion and encouraged to hone a craft whose imagery speaks for itself.  I now reside in Great Falls, Montana, returning full circle to fulfill a legacy and to give back to the community that made me who I am today.

I specialize in Portrait Photography, immortalizing a moment in time, to be savored forever, whether it is a fresh-faced senior looking onto the first day of the rest of their life, the giddiness of the freshly betrothed, the anticipation of newlyweds as they turn the page to the next chapter, or the serenity of humble beginnings for parents embracing their firstborn.
